Mum's last dying wish. This is for my son, Reuben

Donation protected
"Hi, my name is Sandy, I’m 35. At the beginning of March this year I was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer called Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) also known as the silent killer. This is a form of cancer that is typically only diagnosed once it is in the advanced stages and impossible to cure, as was the case with me. As it is so rare research and treatment is extremely limited.

After 5 months of complications from failed surgery and exploring limited treatments available, I have found out that it’s now spread all over my liver and abdomen, shattering any hope and causing deterioration and suffering for me and my little family. I learned today that I have months left, if not weeks, before this cruel disease takes me away and tears my family apart, leaving behind my husband and our beautiful 2 year old boy, Reuben. It breaks my heart knowing that I will no longer be able to contribute to the upbringing of my son physically, emotionally and financially."

On behalf of Sandy:
I cannot begin to imagine the pain and suffering my poor sister in law and brother have already endured and will have to endure, knowing that my brother will lose his wife, Reuben will grow up without his mummy, and his mummy will not be able to watch him grow.

Anyone that knows Sandy, knows what a doting, kind, caring, selfless mummy she is, who always puts Reuben and her family first. With only my brothers wage to support Reuben now, the fact that she cannot provide him the stable future she had hoped for breaks her heart even more so.

Nothing can take away this disease or the heartache it is ripping through our family, but I would like to try to fulfil Sandy's dying wish and help my nephew so that he doesn't go without, financially at least, as he grows up, and Sandy can pass without worrying for his future.

So, with the deepest of sadness and sorrow, I am politely and respectfully requesting donations towards supporting Reuben's future, so he can gain a good education, pay for any life skill courses, go on school trips, holidays, buy driving lessons and potentially pay for the psychologist he may need to help him talk and better understand why mummy has gone to heaven - and all the other things in between that he would have had if things could have been different, if his mother was still here.

Any donations would be made to Sandy to pass down to Reuben and would be forever appreciated at this extremely difficult time.
