Titans JOURNEY: BATTLING Combined Central & Peripheral Demyelination - 2 diseases which are Atypical Spinal Multiple Sclerosis with area postrema Mimicry and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy with secondary axonal burnout.

Hello, my name is Titan, please read what happened below.

In 2022, my life took a devastating turn. I suffered a severe spinal injury, a confluent lesion from t8-t12 extending into the conus medullaris alongside area postrema Mimicry which left me vomiting for over 2 weeks.

I spent 2 weeks in st Thomas hospital where i was told even after presenting with blurred vision, bladder and bowel incontinence, spasticity in my lower abdomen and legs that there was nothing wrong with me.

After 3 years suffering through medical racism and gaslighting snd being told I dont have multiple Sclerosis and the NHS trying to pin a diagnosis of neurosyphiis because as a black Nigerian person born in west Africa I have treponimal antibodies naturally.

I was admitted to hospital over easter 2026 because of my Area Postrema syndrome and this triggered a formal investigation within my nhs trust after I put thriugh a pals complaint , definitive tests have now been done to show that I have what is called Combined Central and Peripheral Demyelination, more specifically atypical spinal multiple Sclerosis & chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy with secondary axonal burnout. The Nhs say they are awaiting further tests as to secure a more definitive diagnosis but this is putting me directly at risk of becoming wheelchair bound in the next few years.

I am desperate for your help in saving my life and my quality of life, because of the permanent nerve damage in my sensory nerbes in my legs i can barely walk and no longer run and I cry everyday living with the fear of not being diagnosed and treated.

I DONT WANT TO BE WHEELCHAIR BOUND because of the medical racism im enduring under THE NHS.

Living everyday is a struggle because living with 2 neurological disease is a literal living nightmare that no person should endure.
The pain is so overwhelmingly bad alongside my fatigue that doing anything physically feel practically impossible a lot of times leaving me bed bound most days.

I desperately need access to specialist care and treatments, specifically B Cell depleting therapies and IVIG. I have been suffering for over 4 years and without the help of generous people like you I cannot afford the care I need to live with some semblance of dignity and hope for a brighter future.

This is why im asking for your kindness, your support, your charity whether its through a donation or in sharing my story which could make an incredible difference in my life. Every contribution no matter how small brings ne closer to a diagnosis for medical and treatment I need to stay alive and keep my quality of life aswell.

Thank you gor reading my story
