Mophead for Mito!

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Mito Foundation and every donation will help.

I've been growing my hair since the beginning of the year to have a MOPHEAD FOR MITO and this weekend I'll be shaving it off!!

Please support me by making a donation, big or small. All proceeds will go directly to the Mito Foundation which supports people affected by mitochondrial disease, funds essential research into the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cures of mitochondrial disorders, and increases awareness and education about this devastating disease.

I became involved in Mito when my Mum's friend had a beautiful baby called Alana. When she was young Alana was disagnosed with a very rare form of Mito, but she faced her challenges every day with a huge smile and a contagious laugh. Sadly Mito took Alana's life at just 7 years old, however, she continues to inspire others and our aim is to share some of her joy by helping to find out more about Mito prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

I am lucky enough to go to a lovely school and as part of our learning, we participate in the GOOD CHAP program. This teaches us the importance of "serving others together". We do this by being Community Helpers Assisting People. By raising money for MITO, I hope this is one way I am living up to being a good CHAP.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
