Hello Everyone. We have created this go fund me page to help out a beautiful, brave, deserving and loving family. Matty and Missy are parents to Willow aged 5 and Ernest who is 17 months old. Unfortunately Ernest has been in and out of hospital since the day he was born with his mum Missy right beside him everyday and Matty visiting as soon as he finishes his work and on weekends. He started with a 3 week stay on NICU when he was born. He was diagnosed with Congenital hyperinsulinism (HI).

Since then he’s never had longer then 4 weeks at home. He’s also been diagnosed with a genetic condition called HNF4Alfa and Ketotic hypoglycaemia as well as still suffering from hyperinsulinism. Ernest has a very low immune system and is now being treated as a immune compromised patient as he seems to catch all the bugs around.

Day to day life for Ernest consist of lots of medications, peg feeds, along side 4 hours blood sugars and regular attempts of consuming food.

Every hospital stay gets harder not only for Ernest, Matty and Missy but also their daughter Willow is also affected by not having her Mum there for school runs, dancing runs and just day to day life. In April they spent 9 and half weeks in Evelina specialist children’s hospital in London undergoing lots of tests and even having Ernest make the specialist scratch there heads with what his little body is doing!

Their most recent admission at Qa has been the hardest as Ernest has been battling against Sepsis which resulted in him being blue lighted to Southampton PICU. He is still continuing to fight and has a smile on his face everyday and is absolutely smashing it! In result of this Missy has had to give up work and Matty has to work even harder to support his family. We want to ask you to help this amazing family by giving anything you can whether it be £1 or £10 just so they can have a light at the end of this uncertain tunnel they are travelling through. They can use it towards Christmas, or a family holiday when Ernest gets better or even just help with day to day expenses.
