On March 7th, I will be travelling to Cape Town along with five other Transition Year students from Ramsgrange Community School. This volunteer trip is focused on working with impoverished communities to support children's learning.

This is an amazing opportunity and will involve a variety of hands-on activities;

Tutoring young learners in Literacy Hubs

Classroom renovations and minor construction works across school grounds

Helping with the school feeding programme

In order to take part in this charity placement, I must raise €3,500. The funds raised will include a significant contribution to the Mellon Educate Building Blitz Initiative.
