I am JuNene K. I am a Double Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner currently working on my Doctorate in Natural Medicine. I help people get to the root of their dis-ease and discover a place of Wellness which is not just the absence of sickness but it is the very presence of Health. I aim to put the HEAL back in HEALth in the hearts and minds of communities that are sick of just being treated for their dis-ease but instead want to get to the other side of that dis-ease and experience total wellness that they control. I provide several methodologies that teach you how to Be Your Own Healer. A few are:

I'm just a regular little brown girl with an extraordinary passion and purpose. I am a Heart Dis-ease Survivor. I have something called SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia) its where my heart gets looped in a very high rhythm and can't come down. It is often coupled with chest pains and stuttering. I developed this debilitating heart condition after taking care of my brother who was in a vegetative state. He had blood clots in his legs that went to his lungs causing a heart attack and stroke. He was without oxygen for 24 minutes resulting in all his brain lobes being damaged. I was his Primary Care Taker and in charge of securing care around the clock for him. It was extremely stressful as I was working on my Master's degree, running a business and raising 2 kids. I used everything that I knew about the brain and the way it harmonizes with the body to help restore my brother's synapses. I incorporated essential oils, herbs, vibrational therapy and Emotional Nursing to empower him and create an environment that was conducive to healing. One of the many great and affirming moments was when my brother would get the jitters and begin to twitch. With my hand on his chest I would say "You control your body, your body DOES NOT control you," he would instantly breathe deeply and go to sleep. I knew at that moment (every time it happened) that I was meant to help people HEAL differently than what is taught. My brother lived almost 2 years passed what the doctors said he would. After this life changing experience, Muhimu Oils was born. Muhimu is Swahili for essential. There are things that are essential in life like air, water, and from caring for my brother, I recognize that Love is one of those things.

<Let me just put this right here> ----> Love aside, I had to figure out a way to bring myself down from the high anxiety moments in life that would shoot my heart rate up and cause unbearable discomfort. I started being Muhimu for Myself. (whew!!!! you'll get that later)

THE PROJECT: What started as a way to help people heal using oils and herbs has morphed into 4 degrees, several certifications, the ultimate degree of degrees, Doctorate in Natural Medicine (October '24), a 3,100 square foot building for a Wellness Center and a community of people that welcome and thirst for this type of Holistic Care in their neighborhoods.

This may be unpopular but I don't believe business should start with a loan from the bank to secure a big space, buy all the products and signage you need then open the door and say "Hey, community come buy from me!" NO. Where is the relationship? I always dreamed of starting business with what I call The Noah's Ark Method. The vision was given to me, I heard the call, but I'm in charge of gathering everybody up in pairs to help me carry it out. This idea of pairs creates sustainability and legacy. Doing so builds trust and security. When you feel safe, you are ultimately WELL.

To date I have secured $77,000 in private funds in addition to a $50,000 grant award through The City of Desoto as a reimbursement payment once the building is complete. What started as a SMALL project has turned into a BIG project given the condition the building was in once build out began and the high cost of materials. I need $20,000 for my next project phase and then we are home free. It can certainly be done if we rally together as a community. Funding this dream can be done in several ways:

1. Purchasing any of the products or services from my site (this is what makes small businesses run)

2. Supporting the I AM HEALED PERIOD Campaign. (you get a shirt)

2. Sowing directly into Muhimu Oils with a monetary gift through this portal

3. Gathering your own group of people that believe in HEALth to radically raise funds

4. Sharing this message with at least 6 people who you know, love and trust

Admittedly, I used to associate GoFundMe with begging for money but now I believe it's providing people with the opportunity to be apart of my dream.
