Katrina was hospitalized the night of November 6, 2020 with HELLP syndrome in addition to pre-eclampsia, potentially life threatening conditions that are likely to necessitate extreme premature labor.  Having just entered her third trimester, this unforseeable complication has thrown the MuFin family into a state of uncertainty for months to come. While Drew is able to manage work from the hospital for now, Katrina won't be able to get back to work during the ensuing struggle that could last months, even after Brooklyn arrives. 
We are incredibly grateful for those who are able to make it to Denver to support Drew and Katrina during their hospital stay, however, we'd like to ask those who can't to contribute whatever they can to help alleviate the stress of the insurmountable hospital bills that will result from this. We understand that many across the country and the world are feeling the stress of these unpredictable times as well, which is why your support means so much more to us. Our hearts go out to all our loved ones, and we can't wait for you all to meet Baby B someday soon.
