MTC Ghana Service Trip
Donation protected
Hello! We are a group of student physical therapists from Long Island University teaming up with Kusudi Organization to help 80 children at the Mephibostheth Training Center in Ghana, Africa. For one week, we will conduct pro bono clinical services at Tema PolyClinic, as there is limited access to Physical Therapy services throughout the country. We are putting together supply boxes and asking for donations to help children with disabilities who attend the center. We are extremely grateful to be able to provide necessary medical services to the school community, and any additional assistance we can provide would make our time with the community that much more meaningful. Any donation, big or small, goes a long way. The funds raised will be spent on building an adaptive playground at Mephibosheth Training Center. Furthermore, other items that donations will go toward include assistive devices, toiletries, clothing, medical equipment, arts and crafts, soccer balls, etc. Donations would help ease the financial constraints of the shipment costs of the equipment that we will bring with us on our journey. Thank you in advance for partnering with us on this adventure!
