Memorial Bench

Hi, my name is Kat Farnham and a group of friends is trying to raise funds for a memorial bench in Kyle Granello's honor.

On December 23rd 2022, a day usually filled with gift wrapping, cookie eating and cozy night filled with loved ones, has become one of the darkest days of my life now. That was the day that I found out my best friend of over a decade, had passed away. Kyle James Granello was described as very funny and witty by many, fun, kind and caring. He was taken away too soon at the young age of 25 years old, set to graduate college this Spring.

One thing that he loved to do with his many many friends, twin brothers and mother was to play Pokemon Go around town. We spent countless nights and days parked in front of the town gazebo (where a Pokemon gym is stationed) playing together and laughing.

I am writing you in the hopes that we may honor his memory and all the wonderful times we had there, with a bench. You see, he was cremated and so none of his friends have anywhere to go that feels like him, where we can talk to him. The cost of the bench is pricey though, so we are looking to the community where we grew up, where Kyle grew up, in hopes that you will help us achieve our goal to honor our friend, and even pay him a visit yourself now and then when it is finally built. After all, Kyle was always a great listener.
