Hello! My name is Sue, and I am the founder and director of the non-profit organization "Hearts in Unity". This small but mighty humanitarian aid organization was founded in 2006 -- after my first visit to Tanzania, Africa -- as a way to bring global awareness to the needs of orphan and at-risk children in Tanzania. Our mission is simple... food, clothing and education for the kids. ❤️

We have helped thousands of Tanzania children over these past 16 years, and our vision is to continue to embrace this mission and to continue to move our Tanzanian mission projects forward the next 16 years and beyond!

This committment does not come without sacrifice and hard work, and I certainly can't do it alone.

So I am asking you to thoughtfully and prayerfully consider supporting me through a financial sponsorship of my climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro in October of this year.

The mountain is a whopping 19,341 feet high, and will take 5 days to climb to the peak -- to the highest point in Africa. It's surely not a climb for the weak-of-heart, and while I'm certain that my 60+ year-old bones and muscles will protest along the way, I am certain my heart for the mission of "Hearts in Unity," and the precious children of Tanzania, will give me the strength and endurance I will need for this adventure, and to successfully reach the peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

The goal is to raise $19,341 for the mission of "Hearts in Unity" ($1 for each foot in altitude I will ascend in the climb to the peak of the mountain).
