Help reunite Ms. Engelique and her girls!

As some of our JCC families may already know, our beloved Ms. Engelique has been separated from her four children for the past seven years. Problems in her home country (Republic of Congo, Brazzaville) required that she seek refuge in the United States. And as any parent can imagine, being torn away from her children has been excruciating. She has spent all of her energy, time, and money working to bring her family back together. Thankfully this fight is almost over. Her children's visas are in place, and final legal arrangements are coming together. Please consider contributing what you can to help Ms. Engelique's children make their way back to their mother. Your contribution will help pay for the costly airline tickets (roughly $1,700 per person, $6,800 total) and items to get the newly-united family on their feet. It is hard to imagine anyone more deserving. Engelique radiates kindness and love; nurturing other people's babies, all while yearning to be with her own.  And through it all she has embodied grace and resilience.
