Help Ms. Blanco on her road to recovery from stroke

Dear friends, family, and community,

I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my mother Mickie Blanco *Ms. Blanco* who recently suffered a stroke. She is an incredible teacher at South Plantation High School, known for her unwavering dedication to her students. Over the years, she has been a guiding light to countless young minds, always putting others before herself and creating a positive, nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued.

My mom is one of the kindest, most compassionate people you’ll ever meet. Whether it’s staying late to help a student or offering words of encouragement when they need it most, she’s always there for everyone around her. Her selflessness, warmth, and dedication to teaching have made her a beloved figure in the school community.

Right now, as she recovers from this stroke, she needs our help. The road to recovery will be long, and she will face significant medical expenses and time away from work. We’re asking for donations to help cover medical bills, therapy, and other unforeseen costs as she focuses on healing and regaining her strength.
