Hello,
I’m sure many of you have been following Hailey and her progress and her story.
She is an incredible little fighter!!
She was born at 34 weeks went in for decreased fetal movement due to a fetal maternal hemorrhage.. because all her blood had gone into me for she was born whiter than paper they said, with pretty much all her blood not in her body.. she was unresponsive, she was immediately rushed to valley children's hospital where she stayed for just about 6 weeks..
(I have posted a more detailed explanation of things on Facebook)
Due to the lack of blood in her body she has been diagnosed with severe HIE ( Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy), and after 3 mris she was diagnosed with severe brain damage..
When we were discharged we were given a really grim outlook on her future..
That she will most likely be blind/ or be able to see but not be able to understand what she’s seeing. Also called CVI (cortical vision impairment). That she maybe able to use her arms but will most likely never be able to use her legs..
And in 6-9 months to a year or even much sooner life may become very very painful for her and that shes at extremely high risk of seizers (epilepsy) that she will most likely have cerebral palsy, and alot more things were said..
But those things are to painful to repeat..
we have had many many many people ask us what they could do to try to help.
At first we didn’t make one at all.
But now it’s time to swallow our pride and admit that we may need some help.
All donations will go towards, any current or future bills/medical bills, gas, diapers, any future surgeries or needs for Hailey. Ect.
We thank you all for all ur concern towards Hailey and our family while we go down this new path.
We are still extremely new and early in this journey with Hailey and everyday miss Hailey is showing us just how strong she really is!
We have a long journey ahead of us but we are thankful for every minute we have with this beautiful little girl.
we continue to stay hopeful and thankful for each day.
