Hello,
I am raising the money to construct two vertical gardens for Meals on Wheels for my Eagle Scout Project. The gardens will be constructed to enable Meals on Wheels to grow needed produce, both vegetables, and herbs, that will be distributed in the community to those in need.
The vertical gardens are designed to enable many different varieties of plants to be grown. Once built, the vertical garden will be maintained and used by Meals on Wheels, serving the community for many years
As the yield from the plants will be consumed, the wood we must use to build the planters must be untreated and made of cedarwood. The project will also be providing the plants that will be utilized for the garden. These factors combined affect the high material costs associated with this project.
My goal is to complete the project by May 16th with the plants planted by Labor Day to ensure a robust harvest this year for Meals on Wheels. I hope you can help make this project possible for Meals on Wheels and my completion of my Eagle Scout Project.
