I am raising funds to secure a home for my dad, my brother, my daughter, and me. My dad recently suffered a second stroke, leaving him with global aphasia (the inability to speak, read, write, and comprehend) and apraxia (difficulty coordinating sounds and syllables). Because of this, he needs to live with family to receive full-time care and support for daily tasks.

I had been saving up to get my own place, but I have been out of work while staying in Florida to care for my dad. This has also meant being away from my daughter, and I need to return to her while ensuring my dad has the care he needs. Thanks to the generosity of donors so far, I was able to get him all the medical equipment he needs. Now, the next step is moving him from Florida to Indiana and securing a home for us all.
