大家好！我们是AFDN, Family Help Family 传心家长协会。我们大家庭中的一个特殊孩子在长期与病魔搏斗29年后 于十月九日永远的离开了这个世界。 更令人心痛的是她的妈妈Anita / Mrs. Chor Chiu Tam 身心疲惫， 积劳成疾，无法接受这痛心的事实，次日心脏病突发，现正在ICU接受抢救。 他们本是一个四口之家，现在家中照料特殊儿子的任务落到了早已白发苍苍的爸爸身上。我们不难想象那是何等的艰难…..在此传心家长协会呼吁社会各界： 我们在为告慰逝者，祈福生者的同时，更多的是为父子俩能在艰难的日子里咬牙生存下去伸出援助之手，为他们尽可能解决现实中的后顾之忧，这也是我们传心组建这个大家庭的宗旨之一。危难中的一个善举不仅将温暖一颗心，更重要的是鼓足他们的勇气，让他们在万难中前行。AFDN 特殊家庭互助协会会长Sim Looi代表Mr. Tam's 家庭感谢您的慷慨与爱心。

We are AFDN, Alliance for Families with Developmental Needs. A special child in our community passed away on October 9 after battling a long-term illness for 29 years. What is even more heartbreaking is that her mother Anita / Mrs. Chor Chiu Tam was physically and mentally exhausted and sick from overwork. She could not accept this sad fact. She suffered a heart attack the next day and is now receiving rescue in the ICU. They were originally a family of four, and now the task of taking care of their special son fell to the father, who was already up in the years. It is not difficult for us to imagine how difficult it is... Here, AFDN calls on all walks of life to express our condolences to the deceased and pray for the living, but more importantly, we want to help the father and son survive in these difficult days. Go down and lend a helping hand and help them solve their real-life worries as much as possible. This is also one of the purposes of establishing this big family. A kind deed in times of crisis will not only warm a heart, but more importantly, give them courage to move forward despite all difficulties.
