Muslim Pride is one of the only live performance spaces centering queer and trans Muslim artists in North America. Since 2020, we’ve been building stages where our communities can gather, celebrate, and be seen on our own terms.

This June, Muslim Pride returns as a three-city tour in Washington DC, New York City, and Los Angeles. And we need your help to make it happen.

Why we’re fundraising?

Muslim Pride is produced independently and funded by our community, not corporations or institutions. Your support helps us create a show that is ethical, accessible, and artist-centered.

We’re raising $28,000 CAD (approximately $20,000 USD) to cover the real costs of producing a multi-city tour, including:

• paying artists and performers fairly

• venue rentals and production

• photographers, videographers, and tech

• accessibility and community care support

• travel and visa costs for organizers

• creating safer, affirming spaces for queer and trans Muslims

Every dollar goes directly toward making these events possible.

Why Muslim Pride matters?

Queer and trans Muslims are often excluded from both mainstream arts spaces and our own cultural spaces. Muslim Pride exists to change that.

We believe artists deserve to be paid.

We believe our stories deserve to be visible.

We believe our communities deserve joy, safety, and celebration.

This is more than a show. It’s a space to breathe, to connect, and to be fully ourselves.
