Mowing 4 Dominicans

Good day! For the last two years, I've been fortunate enough to participate in various summer mission trips (organized by the Power Mission Baptist Church of Cincinnati) to communities throughout the world to assist local communities and spread the word of God. However, due to the sudden coronavirus pandemic, we were not able to do the same this year and had to cancel our trip to the Dominican Republic. The situation went from bad to worse when the virus hit the country, resulting in not only widespread infections but also a substantial amount of starvation. Hearing this from the local pastor we were in contact with, I knew that, although we could not aid local communities in person, there had to be something we could do. Therefore, I decided that I would begin a fundraiser with the purpose of gathering money to feed the impoverished communities in the Dominican Republic. Thank you so much for your consideration and time!

"Hello.

Here in the Dominican Republic, there have been many strict restrictions and measures to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. However, the people here are more worried about their children starving than the pandemic itself. Foreign aid has suddenly stopped due to the travel and commercial regulations imposed against the virus. Many of the Dominico-Haitians are going hungry for 3 to 4 days straight because of the resulting lack of food. The native Dominican pastors have also reported to me about how their congregations have continuously complained about their communities starving to death. Therefore, if you could send a monetary donation to us, we will be able to relieve this pain by buying rice to distribute to the local bateyes and churches.

Please pray for us. Thank you so much for your interest and prayers.

Shalom,
Pastor Chae Gicheol"
