Dr. Stewart graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California San Diego, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on May 14! She will be pursuing a PGY1 residency at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and plans to pursue a PGY2 in Critical Care in the future.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Amanda made a big impact at UCSD SSPPS. She co-founded the UCSD SSPPS SNPhA chapter with 3 colleagues. As a 2021 AACP Walmart Scholar, soon-to-be Dr. Stewart gained perspective into academia and realized her passion for becoming a pillar of support for student pharmacists in the future as a professor and preceptor. Ultimately, she hopes to contribute to immunology research and serve as a trustworthy source of health information to patients of color.
