Keep glassblowing alive by helping our Co-op Move!

We are Ottawa's only glassblowing studio and operate as a Not-for-Profit Co-op.

With a membership of over 60 people, we offer affordable glassblowing rental for aspiring glassblowers and inclusive glassblowing classes to the growing glass community and interested public. As a Co-op, we have more demand than ever! Our waitlist for our beginners classes is over 1000 people, and our hands-on introductory glassblowing courses sell out in hours. We have experienced hands looking to offer glassblowing instruction to this growing community. Unfortunately, our building is zoned to be torn down in the near future.

We are in a situation that has left us in dire need of added funds to establish a new space where we can offer the best hotshop possible. We have already invested in the new studio equipment needed for our future space. What we greatly need are the backup funds to pay for the inevitable hotshop set up costs. This includes items such as power supply, heating and cooling, and safety approvals. These fundamental costs are particular to the space, compound rapidly, and dissolve any extra savings quickly.
