This November, the lads at Newcastle University Football Club are taking part in Movember to raise awareness and funds for men’s health.

Movember is a movement dedicated to changing the face of men’s health worldwide. It tackles some of the biggest health issues faced by men today — mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer. Too many men suffer in silence, and too many lives are lost to illnesses and struggles that could be prevented with more awareness, more support, and more open conversations.

As a team, we recognise how important it is to look out for one another, both on and off the pitch. Football gives us a strong sense of community, and Movember provides us with a chance to use that platform for something bigger than ourselves. By growing moustaches, taking on challenges, and starting conversations, we hope to encourage others to speak up and seek help when they need it.

Every donation will go directly to Movember Europe for funding research, education, and support services that make a real difference in men’s lives. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, helps move us closer to a world where men feel comfortable talking about their health and getting the help they deserve.
