Relocate the Confederate Statue

Killeen, TX – On February 20, 2023 starting at 13:30 Bell County Commissioner Precinct 4 Louie Minor will kickoff the Confederate Statue Relocation Fundraising Drive to raise $150,000.00. The money will be used to relocate the confederate statue to a location yet to be determined. The Bell County Commissioners Court has not approved moving the statue however, Commissioner Minor is confident that the statue will be relocated in the future and wants the funds ready. This statue was erected in 1916 by the United Daughters of the Confederacy and has stood guard, for over a century, perpetuating racism. Can we count on you?
