Move the Caboose

With support from the Monroeville Rotary, Visit Monroeville, UPMC, and Municipality we are raising private funds to help move my father's caboose. As many of you know my father was extremely active in the Monroeville community. The funds will go directly towards paying for the cost of moving the caboose from my mom's home to the Forbes Vo-Tech in Monroeville for a two (2) year volunteer refurbishing, and then to the Monroeville's Community Park where it will be used as a multi purpose room and serve as an asset to the municipality.  Any additional funds raised on top of the goal will be put towards the maintenance and upkeep of the caboose. The goal is not to just put a caboose in a park but to preserve history and make a unique meeting place where people can gather and enjoy all that Monroeville Park has to offer.
