Move my kids and I back home after marriage breakdown

Hi, my name is Naomi and I am raising funds to help move myself and my three kids from Brisbane to Darwin to be with my family after my marriage breakdown.

I have never asked for help like this, but I was recommended to give it a go to make things a bit easier.

I moved down here 2.5 years ago at the request of my husband (after he moved out 1.5yrs earlier) so he could be close to his family. I meant my vows when I made them and have been doing everything in my power to try and reconcile the marriage, including getting rid of everything (leaving my new and growing business) and shifting 3,500km on very little money, and taking 4 years of personal and marriage counselling (on my own as he wasn’t interested). Unfortunately, it has been made abundantly clear that my love is not wanted, and that it is time to return to my family and security - where our children and I have been wanting to be this whole time, and where my work passion is based (I’ve been travelling back and forth).

My children were quite traumatised by the last move, because in order to move down cheaply, we got rid of most of our belongings and had to start again. I would prefer not to do that to them again, but am on a small income due to doing part time work so I am available for my children. The funds will be used to buy a trailer to move our precious things up, set the kids up at their schools with new uniforms, etc… And if I can raise enough, I would appreciate buying a decent caravan for us to live in on my parent’s property so we all have some space.
