I’m Laura, and I’m inviting you to join me for 30 days of 10 minutes of movement this Mental Health Awareness Month.
My main goal is to leave 30 minutes earlier every morning and stop at the forest preserve next to work. But while some days I will walk, other days I will stretch or dance or do yoga, and some days I will simply sit and breathe. This challenge isn’t about perfection or pushing myself harder. It is about the quiet promise to show up for myself, and to remind others that they are worth showing up for too.
I’m fundraising for To Write Love on Her Arms because their work gives real help to people in crisis. TWLOHA connects people to peer support groups and provides scholarships for treatment and recovery. Together we can make sure someone struggling does not have to face their darkest moments alone. Knowing that help is available made a huge difference for me, and I want to pay that forward.
Every minute of movement I commit to represents care and connection. Your gift will support TWLOHA’s Peer Support Groups and Treatment & Recovery Scholarship Program, helping deliver meaningful mental health care and hope. When we come together, small acts of self-care ripple outward and become lifelines for others.
Please donate to support this mission. Your contribution helps provide hours of peer support and treatment for people fighting depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicidal thoughts. Join me in moving for hope and showing up for those who need us most.
