Smoke carrying toxic pollutants can travel hundreds to thousands of miles. Thus wildfires affect communities both near and far. Furthermore, fires destroy habitats, increase soil erosion, increase water pollution runoff, and release stored carbon worsening global warming.

Your kindness will support Ecoengineering in Action's vital work building beaver dam analogs in fire-burned areas of Northern California as a low-cost yet effective nature-based solution toward restoring our wetlands and improving water quality and biodiversity. Beavers are nature's engineers with self-sharpening iron-clad teeth, but we need tools to help us do what beavers do so well. 100% of your contribution will go towards the purchase of essential supplies:

$15 will help us obtain a pair of OSHA safety outdoor eyeglasses
