This holiday season, I invite you to support Ecoengineering in Action, a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization, in its mission to create sustainable technological solutions for our planet. Your donations can help make a real difference during this festive time of year.

Individual and community stewardship of our environment is more crucial than ever as global natural disasters continue to escalate amidst government funding shortfalls. The combination of a warming climate and altered land management practices is making extreme wildfires a growing global concern. Smoke carrying toxic pollutants can travel hundreds to thousands of miles. Thus wildfires affect communities both near and far. Furthermore, fires destroy habitats, increase soil erosion, increase water pollution runoff, and release stored carbon worsening global warming.

Your kindness will support Ecoengineering in Action's vital work building beaver dam analogs in fire-burned areas of Northern California as a low-cost yet effective nature-based solution toward restoring our wetlands and improving water quality and biodiversity. Beavers are nature's engineers with self-sharpening iron-clad teeth, but we need tools to help us do what beavers do so well. 100% of your contribution will go towards the purchase of essential supplies:

$7 will help provide a pair of heavy duty work gloves

$15 will help us obtain a pair of OSHA safety outdoor eyeglasses

$50 will enable the purchase of a pair of loppers

$70 will get us Zubat silky saws

$100 will gift us with a beaver tail sled

$150 will outfit us with chest waders

$300 will allow for portable restroom rental for a week
