This gofundme was created in response to the recent fires that have affected many of our teachers and staff. Our staff are evacuating and in need of lodging, essential supplies and assistance.
We have established a hardship fund through the Los Altos Community Foundation specifically designed for MVLA employees who are victims of wildfires/natural disasters. This will be for those currently affected as well as employees that may be affected in the future.
MVLA employees incurring expenses related to a natural disaster will be eligible for receiving hardship funding. Funds mays be allocated in order to reimburse employees that incur expenses related to:
being displaced - temporarily or permanently
purchasing of essential supplies needed as a result of displacement
requiring (non-covered) medical/emergency services.
Via the hardship fund, all donations will be allocated directly to MVLA staff in need. We so appreciate your support at this time.
