From May 1st to May 3rd I will be climbing the height of Mount Everest (8848 meters/29,029 feet) on my street to raise funds for my local home cares that are affected by current Covid-19 pandemic.
All proceeds will be used to support to the staff of my local care homes: SignaCare Nursing Home (New Ross), Cherrygrove Nursing Home (Campile), New Ross Community Hospital (New Ross)
So, how do you climb Everest on your Street?
My street has a height differential of 29 meters from top to bottom.
I will cycle up and down the street a total of 305 times to reach 8,848m.
I will use different bike every day, starting with race bike on day 1, moving to cyclocross bike on day 2 and finally last day i will climb that hill on High Nelly. And like a real expedition i will camp... in my garden.
If you would like to challenge yourself try to climb Mt. Leinster on your hill ( 796m ).
In this difficult time we can still help each other, thank you for your support.
