Hello friends!
We - Ella and Karolina (proudly connected to Liberia through family and heritage) - are joining forces with the amazing Swedish charity EEZER to deliver motorcycle ambulances to some of the most remote and underserved parts of Liberia.
In these areas, access to medical care can be dangerously limited, especially for pregnant women who face long, difficult journeys to reach help when it matters most. Something as simple as transport can mean the difference between life and death.
That’s where we come in.
This February 2026, for three weeks, we will be taking time off from work to personally drive 2 motorcycle ambulances, as part of a larger team, from Monrovia to remote villages, delivering critical equipment that will stay in the community long after we’ve gone.
Local drivers will be trained, and each community will be left with their own fully functional motorcycle ambulance, capable of getting people, especially women in labour, to medical help quickly and safely.
We are aiming to raise £10,000 to make this mission possible for the two of us. These funds will cover such things as:
- the purchase of 2x new motorcycle ambulances for us to drive and deliver
- essential spare parts and tools
- fuel and transport costs
- local guides
- basic living expenses during our time volunteering on the ground
Every pound donated will go directly toward enabling us to deliver lifesaving equipment to remote Liberian communities and to ensure that each ambulance is handed over safely, with local drivers trained and ready to use them.
This is a mission rooted in care, connection, and respect, and we can’t do it without your support. Whether it’s £10 or £100, your contribution will go directly toward saving lives and building lasting, local solutions.
