Hello I am John Atherton, raising funds for the organization "Safe society for children Uganda." They are helping the people on Bukome island in Lake Bunyonyi, Rubanda District south western Uganda.

The islanders must use boats to go to school because they have no school on that island. They must cross to the other side of the lake to reach schools, and there are emergencies especially with their pregnant mothers.

It is very hard to rush them to nearest hospital with local dugout canoes, but it would be simple and easy with a motor boat. The people of this island are in especially bad shape because of the location. Please help!
