Mothers and children who are victims of domestic abuse

Hi, my name is Veronica and I am fundraising for SOS children’s villages to help mothers and children of Tashkent, Uzbekistan who are victims of domestic abuse.

I am a 17 year old senior in high school, and I am passionate about my culture and background, as well as women’s and children’s rights. My family is from Uzbekistan, and this year I am traveling to Tashkent in order to volunteer for SOS!

All mothers and children are survivors of domestic violence, and most of them are impoverished and have suffered through homelessness. I am raising money for clothes (specifically warm sweaters and coats), hygiene products, cosmetics, and toys, for they are the most needed by the community there. My goal is to raise $5000 by May 17th, and I need YOUR help!!

100% of the funds will go towards buying clothes, hygiene products, comsetics, and toys for the women and children of this community. I am so beyond excited to be working on this project, and I hope that you can contribute to the joy of this community as well!
