Moses of Kingston Memorial Bench
Donation protected
**Moses' family have indicated their wish for a private funeral.**
Since the sad news broke of Moses Jon N'Kanor's death, known commonly in Kingston as Moses, many local residents have been in touch to ask whether a memorial for Moses could be erected in Kingston.

After speaking with the relevant authorities, I am pleased to be able to start this crowdfunding campaign for a bench in Moses' honour, which will include a special plaque in recognition of the joy he brought to so many in Kingston.
The exact location of Moses' bench is still being discussed and considered. As Moses lived in New Malden, in Georgia Road, it is suggested the bench be placed in New Malden. When the Council's contractor, IdVerde, responds with an update on this, I will post an update.
It has been suggested the bench be painted red, in memory of Moses' unconventional red outfits, however the practicalities of this will need to be worked on and discussed with the Council and IdVerde.
The total amount quoted includes:
- The bench
- Fixings for the bench
- Delivery
- Brass plaque for Moses
- Installation into a new concrete base
- Ten years maintenance of Moses' bench
All funds raised will go towards funding this tribute to Moses.
A listing on Co-op Funeralcare states Moses passed away on November 11 at the age of 61.
Moses, of Georgia Road, loved by many in the local community, will be remembered for his warmth and his unconventional red outfits.
