No.. I have not been kidnapped !

No.. I am not leaving my wife !

No..this is not my twin !

No.. I am not his lunch !

No.. I am not a Hobbit !

This is my mate, Ben Harris - ex pro rugby player and now Old Leamingtonian's First XV coach. A club that I have had an involvement with for many years. Coaching, Health and fitness coach (always self appointed) training and playing through all ages and just generally aiding and abetting. Helping fund via my across the bar financing, only when encouraged by others!

Both of my sons have played right through the years and into the 1s.

The club has helped shape them and therefore, Ben must be somewhat responsible for the way that they have turned out!!

Ben and I are part of a squad of people that are undertaking the National 3 Peaks challenge in July raising club funds amongst a gamut of very worthy charities.

In recent weeks a close friend of mine has had his life touched by Leukemia, a God awful disease that breaks hearts where ever it lands. Unfortunately, in this case it is with a child.

I will therefore be sharing my fundraising with Young Lives V Cancer, (those words just strike fear into my core) and, as words can only fall short, this is my way of offering some form of support.

For those of you that have been living under a rock, the 3 Peaks is a Morning stroll to be endured by people who seek praise from people outside of their (usually small) friendship group. As you can tell I have done this a number of times !!

If anything happens to me on either Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike or Snowdon - I feel assured that Ben will just put me in his pocket and smash on. If anything happens to him - at least the locals will be able to eat for a few months!!

All donations are gratefully received - I would rather have £1 from 100 people than £99 from one. Just want to be part of something bigger and give something back.
