On 4th October I will be running my first half marathon at the Manchester Half 2026.

I didn’t intend on running for a charity to start with but as some of you may be aware my little brother Dexter who is 15 suffered a bleed on the brain and had emergency surgery on Friday 11th September and he remains in intensive care.

This is obviously a devastating time for us as a family and my parents haven’t left the hospital since he was rushed in. Ronald McDonald House has provided a safe, clean and comfortable environment for them to stay in which is right next to Manchester Children’s Hospital. It only seems right to try and give back after they had offered there services to us like they do for many families suffering a gutting time.
