Morgan Wallace Memorial Fund

I'm Kelly Belk, mother of Morgan Lee Wallace who died from a heart attack on Monday, May 22, 2017. He was only 36. I am organizing this campaign on behalf of his widow Meredith and their 2 young children, Kaiden (7) and Persi (3).

For the majority of his adult life Morgan worked the waters of the Chesapeake Bay harvesting conch, oysters and crabs. A tough 2016/17 winter forced Morgan to seek alternate means to provide for his family. He spent his days in construction and nights as an in-demand tatoo artist. Meredith has been waitressing while attending school full time.

This tragic and unexpected loss leaves Meredith with financial burdens too numerous to list. In addition to the cost of Morgan's memorial, she's facing a child custody suit, plus education costs as she completes her cosmetology degree this Fall.
