Moreland Church of God Restoration

 The Moreland Community Historical Society is raising money with the goal to preserve the local history of the Moreland area. We are passionate about not only preserving history, but bringing to life the history of our forefathers, and make it available to the next generation of our important community history.

Moreland's Church of God was built in 1882. Since then its structure has been home to two churches. The past 137 years have been hard on the building. Until recently, many of us passed by its weathered structure with little knowledge of its existence. 

In 2016 the Moreland Community Historical Society purchased the building and started the restoration process. Over the past two years, dedicated members of the community, friends and family of the Historical Society, and many talented tradesman have completed 75% of the restoration.
