More awareness & support for Silent Miscarriages

As those closest to us know, we recently
suffered a silent miscarriage.
After 2 years of IVF due to my secondary 
infertility we was blessed to have a beautiful
little girl January 2020 after our 2nd round of IVF.
To our surprise 6 months after her birth we
fell pregnant naturally.
At the 6 week NHS scan we was told the baby was healthy and had a strong heart beat.
As expected we started planning for our new
baby and was excited thinking about the
future with our brood.
At our 11 week private scan we was told the baby had passed away at 9 weeks and 3 days
but I never displayed any symptoms, meaning
I’d had a Silent/Missed Miscarriage.
This was the first I’d heard of such a thing.
Due to it being a Friday and not able to get the miscarriage completed at EPU until the
following Monday (which resulted in my baby falling into the toilet, fainting due to blood loss & over night stay in hospital after tablet treatment on the Monday). We researched for answers, however I was surprised at the very little
information there was online and how little
support we got from the NHS.
I will be doing a skydive in March 2021 to help raise support and awareness for those families who have been through the same heartbreak.
I chose skydiving as Ive always wanted to do it and what better reason than to be in the sky
that bit closer to our truly missed Angel
