Moray Marathon (13th of April), for Alzheimer Scotland
I’m running my very first marathon in the hope of raising as much money and awareness as possible for Alzheimer Scotland, Scotland's leading dementia charity. Over the past year, I have been lucky enough to be involved in some art sessions at the Aberdeen branch. These sessions have been incredibly eye-opening to see the amount of effort and care that goes into supporting those who attend.
Any sharing or donations will help those living with dementia and families affected by the condition access vital services, such as our Dementia Advisors, the 24-hour helpline, and Dementia Resource Centres. These centres provide a friendly and safe environment where people can visit and participate in activities that support their well-being and help them live as independently as possible.
