Hello Everyone

My name is Paul Harrison, I'm the son of Bill Harrison who is the original team member for bringing the Harrison Trail to our northern Cottages.

I have been around Moose Deer since I was born enjoying this beautiful region and taking in its majestic sights and experiences.

I am also a Fire Fighter of 16 years working with Volunteer and paid part time halls around Ontario. I am a Level ll trainer and a Officer with my current department. I am learning every day in this industry even today after 16 years.

I am looking to assist the Moose Deer Point Fire Department to reach out and raise funds. These funds help the Department fund Training, Gear, Equipment and other essentials. Without this help we limit the Departments ability to service the area we love and utilize on a regular basis. With raising costs on a loaf of bread these days imagine what gear and training costs. Its astronomical, I know this because I train guys and girls and can attest to costs directly. ( 15000 Approx. just for gearing up a fire fighter ) This doesn't encompass the free time the Fire Fighter gives to the Department or the costs to the Department.

We love this area of Georgian Bay we owe it to this department to support them if we can. Cottagers and Boaters alike. When you call 911 in the area you are relying on this department and their mutual aid departments to delivery a service, simply having the basics can limit the Departments scope of practice and responses.

I challenge any one to make a donation, I am offering my certified services to assist in training components. Lets see what we can do for this Department its our turn to give back.
