Moonstar has been diagnosed with several forms of cancer, some of which recently have been deemed incurable. These diagnoses have left her with limited treatment options, and after a long journey navigating multiple health conditions and living with debilitating chronic pain, she has made the incredibly courageous and thoughtful decision to pursue MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying).

Moonstar is choosing to spend her remaining time surrounded by her children, creating beautiful memories filled with love, laughter, and as much peace as possible.

To honour her unique spirit and send her off in the way she deserves, we are raising funds to support her final wishes and the needs of her family during this time. Donations will go to Shannon-Blue to help cover:

Moonstar is many things: an artist with a brush and a sewing machine, a lover of horror movies and all things spooky, and a fiercely creative soul who finds joy in painting, baking, and collecting all things skeleton.

We want her final days and her send-off to be filled with the same beauty, humour, and love that she has shared with us all.
