SUMMER 2021 - PEI MOONSHINE ENDURANCE FUNDRAISER

Two Fundraising Events Planned for This August on PEI. 

This August a handful of brave souls will dare to take on the ultimate PEI endurance challenges all for a great cause. 

THE GREAT WALTZ WITH MOTHER NORTHUMBERLAND
Saturday, August 7th - 14KM Swim from NB to PEI

TOUR DE’ ISLE
Saturday, August 14th - 275KM Bike Ride across PEI.

The cause

They will be fundraising for Moonshine Endurance, a Summerside based non-profit organization that designs safe, supervised places for underprivileged youth in developing countries to have fun, learn, and be challenged.  All donations count and will contribute to a better future for kids in need. 80% of all profits from apparel sales and fundraising events goes directly to the cause and is put into a funding pool to be used on the next big project.

Right now Moonshine Endurance is considering several locations for the first major project i.e The Philippines, Cambodia and South Africa. They have designed a safe haven for kids, inspired by Generation XX in Summerside, PEI, where kids can learn music, expand their horizons, and socialize. These projects are in conjunction with local non-profit groups. Kids will be fed, given each a backpack with school supplies and basic medical supplies and vitamins, and a permanent safe and fun place to hang out - a skate park!
