Hi, my name is Yulid and I started the Moon to Moon Foundation because I believe no child should go to school hungry, and no mother should struggle alone.

Across many developing countries, children attend school without proper meals. At the same time, single mothers often face financial hardship and lack of support. Our solution is simple but powerful: build school kitchens where mothers cook free, healthy meals for students — from elementary through senior high school.

How it works:

We build or equip kitchens inside schools.

Single mothers are trained in nutrition, hygiene, and cooking.

Mothers receive a stipend to support their families.

Students receive daily nutritious meals, improving their learning and health.

Our Goal: $15,000 will fund our first pilot school kitchen. This includes:

Kitchen setup & equipment: $6,000

Food starter fund: $4,000

Mothers’ stipends: $4,200

Training & admin: $800
