Montreal family of 5 needs your help!

Imagine a family of 6; two parents and four beautiful children. Life is normal. Both parents work to sustain their family - all four kids are in school and have their respective after-school activities which the parents drive them to and cheer them on. They’re living a normal middle-class life, where the parents have a mortgage to pay, home renovation expenses to cover so as to allow each one of their growing children the comfort of their own room, and other regular living expenses in addition to the necessary daily requirements of groceries.

Now imagine that same family having to face the unimaginable tragedy of the sudden loss of the head of their household. In addition to their devastation and grief, the mother, who now has the role of both mother and father to her children, is also the sole provider of the family. She now has to provide for her family’s daily living, pay off the mortgage on her home in addition to finishing their home renovation and paying off the debt owed to the construction companies who are taking advantage of her unfortunate circumstances by asking for payment upfront to complete the work. With the house mostly gutted, there remains a great deal of work to do, to make the home adequately livable. What once was a somewhat manageable financial situation, has become a great financial burden weighing on the shoulders of the matriarch of the family.

As we still grieve the loss of our beloved friend, let us rally together to ease the pain weighing on his family.
