Montpelier-OBB Community Centre Development

The Montpelier-O'Brien's Bridge Community Centre committee is asking for your help to raise funds to redevelop the old school in Montpelier.

The old school in Montpelier has been at the centre of the community since 1898! It served as a primary school until the 1960s and later as an extension to the oratory.

Please support this fundraiser to redevelop the old school into a modern community centre supporting community activities; Dance Classes, Music, Men’s shed, 45-drives and other activities have already been suggested.

 

The Triple Peak Challenge

 

This coming St. Patrick’s weekend marks the second community centre fundraiser, The Triple Peak Challenge. On Saturday, the 18th of March, the committee are inviting the public to climb three local peaks - Millennium Cross, Moylussa, and the 12 O’Clock Hills. 

This is a family-friendly event, so put down the phones, tablets and enjoy the great outdoors!

Climb all 3 peaks - €35

Climb 2 peaks - €30 

Climb 1 peak - €20 

 

Triple Peak Challenge, March 18th: 

8:00 am - Millennium Cross (6Km) - Millennium Cross Car Park

10:30am - Moylussa 532m (10km) - Meet Ballycuggaran Car Park

 

3:00pm - 12 O'Clock Hills 309m (8km) - Meet 12 O'Clock Hills Car Park
