Monique and Lulu Build a School in Thailand!

As the graduation season approaches, Monique and I have been thinking of ways to celebrate our educational journey. While doing research for a possible summer vacation, we discovered that there are many children who do not have the same opportunities for education as we do. Thailand has a population of nearly 300,000 stateless children who do not have citizenship in any country and therefore do not have access to healthcare, education, or social protection. This limits their opportunity for employment and raises the risk of exploitation, child labor, and trafficking.

Monique and I have decided that the best way to celebrate our education is to extend it. We would like to join the Mirror Foundation in Thailand this summer to help build a school and teach English for stateless children in Bangkok. We hope that offering these children an education can kickstart their journey in obtaining an Thai Citizenship.

You can help us with our college graduation project! Any donation will go towards our flights and accommodations, and to the Mirror Foundation. Anything helps!
