Monica Miller Scholarship fund

On sunday we received the very sad news that Monica Miller passed away unexpectedly due to a cardiac arrest. Monica was a brilliant teacher who believed that every student was special, was respected, and adored by students and staff. Described as a "driving force", she was a recipient of the 2015-16 excellence in teaching award.
Monica leaves behind a loving husband Lindsey 2 young children Rylan and Trista. We are setting up this scholarship fund to help with their education and other local kids. Monica was very passionate about teaching and education. With this fund we are hoping to make the dream of her children pursuing their education a reality and others.
Monica was a fun loving go getter. She was passionate about spending time with her family and friends. Monica loved camping, cooking, gardening and her students. She lived in the tight knit community of Alderflats AB, which she was very involved in. She was thoughtful, caring, kind and called it like she saw.
Please help carry her legacy on and passion for her kids, students and education. Lets make it possible for kids to pursue their education and passion just like Monica has.
