Hi, my name is Alecia, and I have had the privilege of watching Ava Boudi dedicate her life to helping moms for the last 4 years as her Assistant at Busy Mom Media.

If you've ever met Ava, you know that helping others isn't something she does occasionally—it's simply who she is.

Every single day, I see her answering messages from moms who need encouragement, connecting families with resources, collecting donations, introducing moms to opportunities, building community through Busy Mom Media, and doing everything she can to make sure another mom doesn't feel alone.

Many people don't know that Ava's passion comes from personal experience.

Years ago, she was a young single mother of an infant, living in a homeless shelter in New York City. Even while struggling herself, she was helping the other moms around her. That experience became her life's mission.

Today, through Let's Unite Moms, Ava continues that mission by supporting single mothers living in homeless shelters throughout New York City's five boroughs.

Our goal is simple as her quote:

What we can’t do alone, we can do together!.

Let's Unite Moms is an active charity currently working toward receiving its official 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Please note that donations are not yet tax-deductible until our nonprofit status is payed for and approved.

We receive donations of new and gently used essentials from generous families and distribute them directly to moms who need them most.

These items include:

Baby essentials

Diapers and wipes

Formula and baby food

Clothing for moms and children

School supplies

Hygiene products

Menstrual and prenatal care items

Blankets and bedding

Toys and books

Non-perishable food

Other daily necessities

Monetary donations help us provide:

Essential items that cannot be donated

Emergency assistance for moms in crisis

Transportation for picking up and delivering donations

Storage for donated supplies

Community outreach

Programs that support moms and children

Resources that help us reach even more families throughout New York City

Unfortunately, life has come full circle for Ava.

After spending 13 years as a full-time caregiver for her grandmother, while continuing to help thousands of moms through Busy Mom Media and Let's Unite Moms, she is now facing significant personal, health, and financial challenges herself.

She has also experienced heartbreaking losses back to back of several loved ones in recent years.

Even through her own hardships, she continues showing up for other moms every day, including me.

Now it's our turn to show up for her.
