Our names are Daniel Biscardi and Paige Shaw, and we were both born and raised in Thunder Bay.

Each year, we organize and host a charity tournament dedicated to raising funds for local organizations in honour of Daniel’s late Mother, Karen.

Over the past few years, we have built an outdoor rink in our front yard and welcomed more than 100 participants and spectators on the day of the event.

This year marks our 10th annual tournament, and we are proud to be supporting the Thunder Bay Humane Society and the Children’s Aid Society of Thunder Bay. Our goal is to continue growing this event in order to increase our impact and provide meaningful support to local charities within our community.

We are reaching out to kindly request your support. All proceeds from the event go directly to these organizations listed above.

Last year, we raised over $4,500, and we are hopeful to exceed that total this year.

The tournament will take place on February 21, 2026. Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated and would make a meaningful difference.
