Mom of 4 car accident with kids in the car

Hi my name is Samantha. I am a mom of 4 children. Lilyana 10, Jaeshawn 6, Jaevieon 4 and Mariella 3. Monday 3/4/24 as me and my boys left their doctor appointment at Children’s hospital downtown Detroit, heading to my son Jaeshawn’s kidney specialist at St John’s Moross, we were struck by a car head on. The man ran a red light at over 50mph striking us. By the grace of God both my boys walked away safe. I have a concussion and really bad pain in my legs, ankles, neck and hip but I too walked away. That car was my only way to work to support my family, to get to appointments for all my children, my son Jaeshawn’s kidney specialist and so much more. He completely totaled our only transportation. To make it worse I had to call in all week from work because of my pain. I’m just a good hard working mother trying my best and hit a bad patch due to someone else’s negligence. I did have insurance but being the only income for my children, I could only afford PLPD. Any love and support is appreciated so much in this time of need.
